This past weekend I made my first trip back to New York since 2019. I would say a few things have changed in my world and the world in general during that timespan. For example, I now have a young travel companion. We took the train from Baltimore and arrived on Saturday in the afternoon. We were lucky enough to stay with family in Manhattan for this trip.
We did lots of expected touristy things on her frist trip to the city, but also I gave her a personalized tour of my old apartment buildings and school. She even played some chess in Washington Square Park. The best and worst moment of the trip though, she told me to be brave when I didn't want to take a 102 story elevator ride to the top of the world trade center. We made it there.
During my time in the city, I also got to see a photographer friend of mine that I've gotten to know pretty well over the past 20 or more years. Check out the work of Christopher Jones at latentseen.com @latentseen

Hopefully I'll get the 6 rolls I shot developed in the near future.
