Reflections on My 2024 Journey: A Year of Growth and Exploration

Embracing New Experiences

As I look back on 2024, I realize it was a year filled with exploration and personal growth. I spent the entire year scanning my work for 2025, and I finally completed that task. It feels rewarding to have a clear vision for the future.

One of the highlights of my year was traveling to England. I visited my transcendental meditation teachers in London and Newcastle. Meeting them in person for the first time was a truly wonderful experience. I learned TM in 2020, during a time when many of us were searching for ways to cope with the pandemic. The Power of Connection

My teachers were all based in England, so I had been connecting with them online for quite some time. Daily meditations with them became a cherished part of my routine. However, I felt a strong desire to connect with them face-to-face. That journey was not just about meditation; it was about building relationships and deepening my understanding of myself.

In addition to my time in England, I also traveled to Italy for ten days. Italy is one of my favorite places on Earth. The beauty of the landscapes and the richness of the culture inspire me deeply. I’ll be uploading galleries of my work from that trip soon, and I can’t wait to share those moments with you.

Capturing Everyday Life

Throughout the year, I dedicated a significant amount of time to photography. I explored various zoos and aquariums, capturing the essence of wildlife. Ocean City was another destination where I found inspiration. The vibrant atmosphere and everyday life provided countless opportunities for unique shots.

I believe that photography is about more than just taking pictures; it’s about telling stories. Each image I capture holds a piece of my experience, and I look forward to sharing those stories with you. Expect lots of updates in the near future.

Navigating the Online World

Recently, I opened a Squarespace store. I must admit, I’m not the best at online marketing. My focus has always been on film photography and the art of scanning negatives. The web side of things can be overwhelming, and it may take some time for me to get everything set up properly.
